Woman Sues Apple For Allegedly Using Her Recordings as Siri's Hebrew Voice Without Permission

An Israeli woman is suing Apple for allegedly using her voice as the Hebrew version of Siri without her permission. She further claimed that she had asked Apple earlier in 2018 to remove her voice from Siri, but the company apparently turned down her request.
According to a complaint filed through a district court in Tel Aviv, Israeli radio broadcaster and voice artist, Gura-Eini, is asking for about $66,000 in damages, claiming that Siri has turned her voice into "a vehicle for improper and humiliating speech", including sexist, racist, and violent phrases.
Apple, however, has denied all allegations, with the company's lawyer, Amir Halevy, claiming that Gura-Eini has been compensated already, and that, the rights to the voice recording now legally belong to Apple.
