According to South Korean publication, ET News, Samsung's first 5G smartphone will be called the 'Galaxy S10 X'. The 'X' will apparently not only be an ode to the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy S-line this year, but will also stand for 'experience' and 'expand'.
The report further claims that the Galaxy S10 X will go on sale in late March shortly after the standard S10 models ship earlier that month. The phones will be announced at the Samsung Unpacked event on February 20.
The Galaxy S10 X is expected to be priced at between 1.6 million and 1.8 million won (Rs. 1 lakh to 1.14 lakh), making it one of the most expensive smartphones from any of the mainstream companies.
