American automaker, Ford, is reportedly working on a fully-electric version of its F-series pickup truck. It’s not immediately clear as to which particular model will get an electric counterpart, but it’s believed to be a completely different project from the hybrid version of F-150 that the company has been working on for the past few years.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the announcement was made Wednesday at the Deutsche Bank Global Automotive Conference in Detroit by Ford’s Global Markets President, Jim Farley, who said, “We’re going to be electrifying the F-Series — battery electric and hybrid”.
