In the battle of the smart voice assistants, the more things change, the more they remain the same. According to the latest 'Annual Smart Speaker IQ Test' report, Google Assistant is once again the runaway winner in its battle against Amazon's Alexa, Apple's Siri and Microsoft's Cortana.
The report claims that it ranked these voice assistants based on 800 questions on subjects like local, commerce, navigation, information, and command.
Overall, Google was able to answer 88 percent of the queries, followed by Siri at number of 2 with 74.6 percent and Alexa at number 3 with 72.5 percent. Microsoft's Cortana brought up the rear, answering barely 63 percent of the questions it was asked.
