Apple Told to Stop Misleading Consumers on iPhone Ban in Germany

Apple has been told by a German court to stop misleading consumers through press releases which say iPhones are available in the country through carriers and resellers, as per a Reuters report.
If you recall, Apple was banned from selling iPhone 7 and 8 in Germany following a patent dispute with Qualcomm Inc, which saw the latter get the court’s verdict in its favor.
“The press release … is misleading as it contains statements that are at least potentially deceptive about the availability of the goods, namely the iPhones affected by the ruling,” the panel of judges reportedly wrote in their latest ruling on the injunction.
