Xiaomi Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Air Pollution Mask launched in India For Rs 249


Xiaomi has expanded its anti-pollution portfolio in India with the launch of Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution mask in the country. The device is already up for sale on the company's official India site at a price of Rs. 249.
According to Xiaomi, the mask uses a 4-layer filtration system to block 0.3-micron particles. It is also said o have a 99.97 percent efficiency while blocking PM2.5 particles.
The device can reportedly combat several types of pollutants, including seasonal haze, dust storms, cold and flu pathogens, allergic pollen, grease, smoke and other contaminants.
The Mi AirPOP comes with a 15-hour lifespan in total, and has an expiration date of three years from the date of manufacture. It will originally come with just the one filter out-of-the-box, but Xiaomi is expected to reveal pricing details of additional filters at a later date.
