After unveiling the ThinkPad X1 Extreme at IFA 2018, Lenovo has finally launched the thin-and-light workstation in India at an exorbitant starting price of Rs. 1,97,471.
All models in the ThinkPad X1 Extreme series feature up to 15.6-inch UHD (3840 x 2160) HDR touchscreens with Dolby Vision support, but the top-end model with a Core i9 option hasn't been launched in India.
The base variant launched in the country is powered by a Core i5 processor alongside 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. There's also a Core i7 model with identical RAM and storage, as well as a 1TB variant that comes with a whopping Rs. 3,02,015 price tag.
Graphics options include Intel UHD Graphics 630 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB GDDR5 GPU, while security features include support for Smartcard, fingerprint sensor, IR camera for Windows Hello, ThinkShutter privacy camera cover, Kensington lock slot and TPM 2.0 module.
