Motorola is rumored to launch a new clamshell RAZR smartphone with a massive $1,500 price-tag later this year. Now, a registration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is believed to have revealed a few sketches that may give us some hints about how the device may look like.
As pointed out by The Verge, there’s no mention of the word ‘RAZR’ anywhere on the document, but the design similarities with the iconic device are just too stark to be missed.
Even as the outer design remains similar, it will have big changes on the inside, with the small screen and physical keypad replaced by a larger, folding panel, which is exactly how the original WSJ report had described it.
