Microsoft’s SwiftKey is one of the most popular keyboard apps on Android and the developers are kicking off 2019 by giving users an insight into the performance improvements in store.
In an official blog post, SwiftKey has seen a number of improvements over the past year. The keyboard has not only become 20% faster than its rivals but also reduced lag by over 50% with the help of Quick Frame Rendering. This makes SwiftKey capable of swiftly running on old hardware as well.
SwiftKey further touts that it has the smallest installation size on Android among its peers, including Gboard.
