Sony has reportedly reduced the prices of various models of its PlaySation 4 gaming console following the reduction in GST rates on consumer electronics goods.
According to NDTV, the MRPs have been reduced not only on the PS4, but also on a number gaming accessories from the company, including the PSVR headset. Here are the important changes:
- PS4 Slim (1TB) - Now Rs. 33,650 (Earlier Rs. 36,490)
- PS4 Slim (500GB) - Now Rs. 28,580 (Earlier Rs. 30,990)
- PS4 Pro (1TB) - Now Rs. 38,710 (Earlier Rs. 41,990)
- PSVR (V2) - Now Rs.28,580 (Earlier Rs. 30,990)
- PSVR Mega Pack - Now Rs. 31,600 (Earlier Rs. 34,290)
Meanwhile, the DualShock 4 controller now carries an MRP of Rs. 5,050, which is Rs. 440 less than the previous MRP of Rs. 5,490. As always, you can expect the retail prices to be even lower, with retailers offering their own discounts on the printed MRP.
