Disappointing iPhone Sales Negatively Impact Apple’s Hiring

A series of reports from different sources over the past several weeks have been claiming that Apple’s latest iPhone devices have not been selling as well as the company and its investors would have hopped for.
The latest report on the subject now claims that the company is cutting back on its hiring because of the slow sales. According to Bloomberg, the decision was announced by Apple CEO, Tim Cook, at the company’s ‘all-hands’ meeting with employees earlier this month.
It’s not immediately clear which departments will bear the brunt of the slowdown, but according to the report, R&D activity on AI and other related next-gen technology will not be affected.
