HMD’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, has revealed that the Android Pie rollout for the Nokia 8 has been delayed in India because of issues with VoLTE. According to him, “we had regression on VoLTE in India and needed to spin new SW (software)”.
He also assured that the incoming update will include all Android Pie features. There’s no ETA for the rollout just yet, but for Nokia 8 users, it’s still reassuring to at least get an official heads-up from the company.
