Announced last week, Redmi Note 7 is a significant upgrade over its predecessors both in terms of its design and hardware. The company seemingly knows that it’s got a winner in its hands, and is reportedly looking to sell 1 million units of the device by the end of January.
According to Wang Teng, the product manager of Redmi, “there should be 1 million units in January, and it will not be difficult to sell”.
As it turns out, Teng was right on the money with his observations that the device will be an easy sell. According to latest reports, the company has already exhausted its Redmi Note 7 stock because of unexpected high demand, with pre-orders having to be stopped just 20 minutes after bookings were reopened yesterday.
