Samsung may have big ambitions for laptops, but it's not quite the powerhouse it is in smartphones, in this particular category. Even so, it keeps plugging away with new launches and at CES 2019, the company has announced its latest Notebook Odyssey, powered by NVIDIA's RTX 2080 graphics. Looking quite like a Lenovo Y-Series gaming laptop when opened, the 2019 Odyssey has a central hinge, which leaves quite a lot of room for air-based cooling.
The Odyssey features a 15.6-inch 1080p screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and GSYNC support, and a stealthy all-black exterior. It'll be powered by Intel 8th generation Core i7 8750H CPU, and gets up to 16GB of RAM, two NVMe SSDs. It'll also feature a bevy of ports, including three traditional USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB-C (Thunderbolt 3 likely), Ethernet and HDMI for display out. There's no word on pricing or availability just yet.
