Intel unwrapped a number of new offerings in its 9th-gen Core processor lineup at CES 2019. Seven different chips, ranging from entry-level Core i3 models to high-end Core i9 CPUs were announced as part of the lineup.
The new chips include the Core i9-9900KF, Core i7-9700KF, Core i5-9600KF, Core i5-9400/F, Core i3-9350KF, and Core i3-8100F. All are built on the same 14nm process and based on Coffee Lake micro-architecture.
They have base clocks between 2.9GHz and 4.0GHz, and TDP ratings of between 65watts and 95watts. The ones with the ‘F’ suffix lack integrated graphics, while the rest ship with the Intel UHD 630 iGPU.
There’s no pricing info, nor any concrete release date, but Intel says they will be launched in Q1, 2019. Meanwhile, the 10nm Ice Lake processors will be launched during the 2019 holiday season.
