US chipmaker, Qualcomm, has claimed that more than 30 5G devices based on the company’s Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and the Snapdragon X50 5G modem family will be launched this year by various OEMs. Most of these will be smartphones, the company said.
In an official press release, Qualcomm said that virtually all 5G devices released this year will be based on the company’s Snapdragon X50 5G modem family and Qualcomm RFFE solutions, including the QTM052 mmWave antenna modules with integrated RF transceiver.
