Huawei Expects Huge 21% Growth in 2018 Revenue

Huawei is taking great strides in the smartphone business and climbed to the second spot, overtaking Apple, last year. Now there's only Samsung ahead of Huawei and the Korean giant has a thing or two to be worried about.
Huawei is feeling ultra-confident about its 2018 numbers, and is expected to record a 21 percent jump in revenue for 2018 to $109 billion, its rotating chairman said. It would be the company's fastest growth rate in the two years. Seemingly, the international scrutiny of its activities, thanks to close ties with the Chinese government and supposed involvement in global espionage. Further annual revenue is expected to exceed $100 billion for the first time for the largest 5G vendor in the world.
