Google Assistant Can Now Be Your Interpreter

Google has added a ton of language-related features to Google Assistant and now it’s bringing an oft-requested feature in the form of Interpreter Mode. The new feature rolling out over the next few weeks on Google Home devices and Smart Displays, lets users ask the Google Assistant to help them have a conversation in dozens of languages.
Just say “Hey Google, be my French/Spanish/German interpreter” and you would be able to start using it. Google Assistant gives you real-time spoken and (on Smart Displays) written translation to aid the conversation. Google is piloting Interpreter Mode this week at CES at the concierge desk in Caesars Palace, and at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco and Dream Downtown in New York City.
