Authorities in Poland have arrested a Chinese employee of global conglomerate Huawei for alleged involvement in cyber espionage.
Law enforcement agencies raided Huawei’s local offices, as well as the offices of telecoms firm Orange Polska, to arrest a Polish national for the same case.
Netiehr Huawei Poland or the HQ in China have responded to the arrest. Late last year, authorities in Canada arrested a top Huawei executive, Meng Wanzhou, which sparked a global controversy with China responding with its own arrests of Canadian citizens in China.
