Flipkart co-founder, Sachin Bansal, has invested Rs. 150 crore (around $21 million) in Uber rival Ola. The info was revealed by documents filed with the registrar of companies (RoC) sourced from business signals platform, Paper.vc.
According to ET, Bansal purchased 70,588 ‘Series J’ preference shares at Rs. 21,250 each. His investment is said to be part of a $100 million funding round that apparently values the home-grown ride-sharing company at Rs. 40,000 crores (around $5.7 billion)
