After announcing the Redmi Note 7 earlier this week, Xiaomi is planning to launch a new ‘flagship’Redmi smartphone with the Snapdragon 855 SoC. According to the company’s CEO and co-founder, Lei Jun, a device powered by the top-tier chipset is already in the works and will be launched at some stage this year.
There’s no further info on this mystery device at the moment, but an unconfirmed media report out of China seems to suggest that it might be priced around 2,500 yuan (around Rs. 25,000).
