Huawei has announced the roll-out of Android Pie for the Honor Play, Honor 10 and Honor View 10 smartphones in India. The update comes in the form of Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 custom ROM and, brings a bunch of new features, including GPU Turbo 2.0, Translation, AI Shopping, Password Vault, Digital Balance dashboard, and more.
The new software also brings ‘Huawei Share’ connectivity for Bluetooth printers, a local data backup solution to help save important files on local drives, as well as better integration of its HiAI artificial intelligence engine with the WPS productivity suite.
Other AI-infused EMUI features include HiVision and HiTouch, both of which are Google Lens-like visual search features that allow users to search the internet about any object in the physical world.
