Recognized as the world’s richest man, Amazon founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos, is divorcing his wife, MacKenzie, after 25 years of marriage.
Bezos, 54, who founded Amazon in the mid-90s, has an estimated net-worth of $137 billion, some $45 more than Microsoft founder, Bill Gates.
Bezos and his wife, who have four children together, announced their decision via Twitter, saying that they decided to go their separate ways after careful consideration.
According to their joint statement, “After a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends”.
