LG on Monday launched a new smartphone for the South Korean market. Called the Q9, the new smartphone is believed to be a re-branded version of the G7 Fit and is aimed at students for the most part.
The LG Q9 features a 6.1-inch QHD+ HDR 10 display with a stunning 1,000nit brightness. It is powered by the three-year-old Snapdragon 821 SoC and comes with 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of storage. The phone offers USB-C 3.1 connectivity and Quick Charge 3.0 support for its 3,000mAh battery.
Imaging options include a single 16MP camera on its back and an 8MP selfie camera in the notch upfront. The phone comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, a Hi-Fi Quad DAC setup, and has an IP68 rating that denotes resistance to dust and water.
