Western Digital Launches SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD; Demoes 4TB USB-C Pen Drive

At CES 2019, Western Digital showed off a number of flash storage solutions, including the SanDisk Extreme PRO Portable SSD, a 4TB USB-C thumb drive prototype, My Passport Go portable SSD portable drives and a cloud-based backup service called SanDisk Flashback.
The Extreme Pro Portable SSD will be available in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities, priced at $199 (around Rs.13,900), $349 (roughly Rs. 24,400) and $599 (around Rs. 41,900), respectively. They will be available for purchase from Spring 2019.
As for the My Passport Go portable SSD drives, they are listed on Amazon.com with a $90 (around Rs. 6,300) price-tag for 500GB option and $170 (around Rs. 11,900) for the 1TB unit.
Being only a prototype, the 4TB USB-C pen drive doesn’t have either a price-tag or a release date.
