Makers of the hyper-realistic driving simulator Project Cars, Slightly Mad Studios, has announced that it is building a powerful standalone gaming console. CEO Ian Bell didn't tweet details about the hardware or indeed the software specs of the console, but only teased its arrival soon.
Bell tweeted, "The Mad Box is coming", and then told Variety that the 'Mad Box' will probably release in about three years and support up to 120 frames-per-second for VR gaming.
"We're in early talks with manufacturers of components," Bell said and added that early design builds will be shown off by next month.
