Even as the upcoming Galaxy M-series is taking all the limelight as far as mid-range Samsung smartphones are concerned, the company is still planning to launch new smartphones as part of its ‘Galaxy A’ lineup.
An upcoming device in that series, the Galaxy A50, has now received its certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA), suggesting that it might be launched sooner rather than later.
As can be seen in the screenshot below, the device comes with model number SM-A505FN/DS, and supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. It also apparently runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
