Samsung Could Go with Sony IMX374 Sensor for Foldable Galaxy Phone

Samsung’s foldable phone is one of the most anticipated devices of the year and it’s just one of the many foldable phones and tablets that will hit the market in 2019.
While the main highlight will be the folding display, Samsung is also using new camera sensors for the phone. The alleged Galaxy F (for Flex or Fold), may use Sony’s new IMX374 camera sensor, according to a report in SamMobile. The camera drivers in the firmware for an unrelated 5G dongle have mention of IMX374 alongside Winner, Samsung’s internal codename for the foldable phone.
The Galaxy F is likely to have three cameras on the back, just like the Galaxy S10. A teardown of firmware files from Samsung has revealed that the company will go for the IMX374 sensor, which has not even been announced yet.
