At CES 2019, Nvidia has announced that it has now officially certified as 'G-Sync compatible', several gaming monitors that were earlier certified to support AMD's 'FreeSync' technology. The monitors include several models from Asus and Acer, as well as one model each from AOC, Agon and BenQ.
In a post on its official blog, Nvidia said that support for its G-Sync compatible monitors will begin January 15 with the launch of the company's first 2019 Game Ready driver update. The aforementioned 12 monitors were certified after testing 400 different models, and the company says it will test more monitors and update its support list going forward.
