Netgear Shows off Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot at CES

US-based networking company Netgear showcased a its new range of Wi-Fi devices for home and businesses at CES 2019. It also demonstrated “Nighthawk 5G” mobile hotspot which is touted as the world’s first standards-based millimeter wave mobile 5G device for AT&T.
“The company aims to benchmark the Indian telecom sector and provide the necessary communications tools for the upcoming 5G era,” said Marthesh Nagendra, Country Manager-India & SAARC, Netgear.
Among the home and SMB solutions include “Orbi Pro Mesh Wi-Fi Ceiling Satellite,” and “Orbi Whole Home Wi-Fi System,” for ultra-fast mesh Wi-Fi coverage.
The Netgear “Armor”, powered by Bitdefender, is a multi-layer cyber security service that will be available via software update to existing Orbi customers in coming months.
