A day after Activision Blizzard announced plans to sack its CFO, Spencer Neumann, over unspecified reasons, the media finance veteran has already reportedly been hired by Netflix as its chief financial officer replacing David Wells, who had earlier announced plans step down from his post after 14 years at the streaming media giant.
According to a source quoted by the Reuters, Neumann will start his stint at Netflix in early 2019, although the exact date is yet to be disclosed. He is also likely to be based in Los Angeles with a focus on production finance, said the report.
