The GL series is among the numerous gaming laptop lineups that MSI has announced upgrades for at the ongoing CES 2019. As part of the plan, the GL73 and GL63 lineups will now come with Intel’s 8th-gen Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU with 6GB GDDR6 RAM.
The 15.6-inch GL63 and 17.3-inch GL73 will both have Full HD, 120Hz, 3ms TN panels as standard features, but the former will also have an IPS option. The devices can be configured with various storage options, including NVMe PCIe + NVMe / SATA combo alongside 2.5-inch SATA HDD storage options.
Other key highlights include a giant speaker setup, a red backlit keyboard, and Nahimic 3 Audio Enhancer support. Prices and availability details are yet to be announced.
