After Nokia revived some of its classic phones for the modern era, many tech enthusiasts have been asking for a revival of the Motorola RAZR flip-phone. Well, their wishes may come true as the company is reportedly set to bring the iconic phone back in the form a $1,500 foldable smartphone. Talk about raising your expectations and killing them at the same time.
According to a WSJ report, Verizon and Motorola will announce the phone next month. Obviously foldable smartphones are not cheap to produce, still, it would have been neat to see a more affordable revival. It’s not yet known whether the launch or announcement will happen at MWC 2019 or at a separate event.
