Alongside the Thinkpad X1 Carbon, Lenovo has also refreshed its ThinkPad X1 Yoga lineup at the CES 2019. The major upgrade is in terms of build material, with the devices now built out of aluminum instead of the carbon fiber hybrid material of their predecessors, making them smaller, thinner and lighter.
Like the Thinkpad X1 Carbon, hardware specs of the latest Yoga convertibles also include Intel's 8th-gen Core processors, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. They will also be offered with a whole host of monitor options, including a Full HD IPS touchscreen of 300 nits brightness, a WQHD IPS touchscreen with 300 nits, and an HDR UHD IPS unit with 500 nits.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon range will run Windows 10 Pro, and will be available from June 2019 starting at $1,930.
