Bangladesh to Build Two Floating Solar Plants to Boost Renewable Energy Production

With financial backing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Bangladesh is reportedly planning to install two floating solar plants in the country.
According to PV Magazine, one of the projects will have an installed capacity of 50MW, while the production capacity of the other is yet to be decided.
While the man-made Kaptai Lake in Chittagong will be the site for the 50MW project, the other one is expected to be build by a company called Dynamic Green Energy Ltd. on a 10 sq km section of River Padma in Manikganj.
