After years of fervent appeals from Android users, Google is seemingly all set to finally introduce a system-wide dark mode in Android Q. According to a post by Googler Lukasz Zbylut on the Chromium bug tracker, the in-demand functionality "is an approved feature" for the next major version of Android, expected to be announced later this year.
Believed to have been first spotted by Android Police, Zbylut's post seems to further suggest that the option to turn on the dark mode will be available under 'Settings'. If all goes according to plan, the feature should be available in the first developer preview of the next version of Android.
