It’s not just your average customer that suffers from the constant chopping and changing of ports on new Apple devices. Even Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra has the same peevs.
Mahindra took to Twitter to complain about the USB Type-C port on the new Apple iPad Pro, which means he has to carry separate chargers for the iPhone and the iPad Pro. “More junk when I travel. Great strategy to boost accessory sales, but not surprised more folks are sticking to existing models,” he tweeted.
Mahindra also complained about the fact Earpods with the Lightning connector can’t be hooked up to the iPad, which means more expense for the customer. Interestingly, Mahindra was complaining on Twitter using an Android device.
