Tech startup, AfterShokz, announced a couple of noteworthy products on the first day of CES 2019. The ‘OptiShokz Revvez‘ sunglasses and the ‘Xtrainerz’ headphones both come with bone-conduction technology to transmit sound through the users’ cheekbones.
Both devices are water-resistant, but while the glasses only come with an IP55 rating, the headphones are IP68-certified. In fact, it’s being marketed as something to be used while swimming.
The lenses on the Revvez will be available in a bunch of different color options, including Polarized Grey, REVO Blue, Gradient Grey, Transparent and Bright Yellow. The OptiShokz Revvez will be available through Indiegogo from mid-February.
The Xtrainerz is built out of flexible titanium and will come with 4GB of internal storage and 6-hour battery life. It’s priced at $150 and will be available starting this spring.
