12 Pro Gamers Banned For Cheating During PUBG European League

PUBG Mobile has banned 12 professional players for cheating during the PUBG European League (PEL). Most of them were reportedly banned for using radar hacking techniques that allow a player to spy on opposition players on the map, thereby gaining an unfair advantage in the game.
According to Tencent Games, six out of the twelve were caught during a professional game, and were banned for three years each. They include ‘Papaya’, ‘Cabecao’, ‘swalker’, ‘zuppaa’, ‘Houlow’ and ‘sezk0’. Four more, named ‘Avalon’, ‘Smitty’, ‘TEXQS’ and ‘S1D’, were caught using unauthorized software, and have received 2-year bans each.
Two more players got three-year suspensions each for failing to inform the organizers about the cheating in spite of having prior knowledge.
