Xiaomi and its Mijia brand have launched the Xiaomi Mijia Laser Projector 4K in China, priced at 9,999 yuan or just over Rs 1 lakh in India.
The 4K projector is capable of beaming a virtual 150-inch screen projection on a wall or projector screen. Since this is a short throw projector, you don’t need to place it high up on a ceiling and can instead have it placed like a TV in the living room. The projector’s UI is powered by the MIUI TV OS, and not Patchwal UI that you see in the Mi TVs.
The Laser Projector 4K has built-in speakers, 3xHDMI ports for multiple inputs, a single USB port to use your offline media on, along with multiple sound inputs as well as Ethernet connectivity.
