Apple to Reportedly Refresh iPod touch This Year, Add USB-C to iPhones

A revised iPod touch and USB-C cables for iPhones could be on Apple’s list of offerings in 2019, according to a report from Japan’s Macotakara.
It also says that the 2019 iPhones could make the switch to USB-C, as has been rumored in the past too.
The iPod touch was last released in 2015 and Apple continues to sell the model with 32GB of storage for $199, which may surprise some readers.
The rumored addition of USB-C ports makes sense as that port has been added to the 2018 iPad Pro models. Apple also made a USB-C to 3.5mm jack dongle, which would also work with the new iPhones.
