Sony has hired 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg as the new director for the Uncharted movie, as per a Variety report.
With Shawn Levy stepping away from directorial duties of the video game adaptation last month, Sony was on the lookout for a new creative lead for one of the most anticipated video game adaptations of all time.
Based on the super hit Uncharted series, Spider-man star Tom Holland is still attached to star as protagonist Nathan Drake in the adaptation, with a release expected next year.
