Samsung has clinched a deal with Audi to supply automotive processors designed for in-car infotainment systems. The South Korean company, which first showcased the automotive chip brand in October last year, said the Exynos Auto V9 will be utilized for Audi's in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) solutions.
With three graphics processing units, it is capable of running multiple applications simultaneously, it added. The technology will also enable drivers to obtain details on conditions of automobiles on a real-time basis.
The neural processing unit can also promptly and accurately process various data, including drivers' voice, face and movements to provide optimized information.
