Tipster extraordinaire, Evan Blass aka @evleaks, has posted a new hands-on video that seemingly shows off a new folding tablet from Xiaomi. As can be seen in the tweet, the device can be folded on both sides, converting it into a more manageable smartphone-like form-factor.
It’s not immediately known whether the video is real or not, because Blass couldn’t confirm its veracity, saying that there’s a chance it could be a fake.
However, given that a whole host of Android vendors, such as Samsung, Huawei, and Motorola, have already confirmed that they are working on folding smartphones, it won’t be a massive surprise if Xiaomi is also looking to introduce its own offering in the segment.
