Harley-Davidson's LiveWire Electric Motorcycle Has a Samsung Battery with 180 Km Range

Harley-Davidson’s first electric motorcycle ‘LiveWire’ will be powered by batteries made by Samsung, and was showcased at Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2019).
Harley-Davidson and Samsung SDI have collaborated on the building of the electric motorcycle project for over four years to target tech-savvy, premium consumers.
The electric motorcycle runs on a battery pack, comprising lithium-ion cells made by Samsung SDI. LiveWire’s range is approximately 180 km, and it can do zero to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds, Samsung SDI claimed.
The American motorcycle manufacturer will accept pre-orders for LiveWire at CES for shipping in the fall.
