Google Chrome Expands Better Ads Standards; Will Now Block Annoying Ads Worldwide

Google has announced that it is expanding its Better Ads Standards beyond North America and Europe to cover all countries, where the browser is available. Beginning July 9, Chrome will expand its user protections and stop showing all ads on sites in any country that repeatedly display these disruptive ads, said the company.
Google has been cracking down on websites that violate the ‘abusive ads’ guidelines laid out by the industry body, Coalition For Better Ads. As part of the plan, Chrome has been blocking all ads on the worst offending websites, but as Google said, the feature was thus far implemented only in the US, Canada and Europe.
