Apple Will Reportedly Launch iPhone With Triple Rear Cameras

According to a Wall Street Journal report today, Apple will introduce a triple-camera iPhone this year and another lower-priced LED model to follow up on the iPhone XR.
Despite the disappointing sales in 2018 in China, in particular, Apple is keen to retain its three-devices strategy for the new lineup. The 2019 models will be the first iPhones to have triple rear cameras, as has been rumored since last year, and shown off recently in alleged renders based on accurate leaks (seen above).
The asymmetric design looks terrible, but the third lens would supposedly allow iPhones to take telephoto close-ups or macro shots, and get better Portrait mode shots.
