Xiaomi has launched the much-rumored AirPods clone in China. Called the Mi AirDots Pro the earbuds look startlingly similar to AirPods, and also have a similar charging case. The Mi AirDots Pro go on sale from January 11, priced at 399 yuan (or roughly Rs 4,000).
Driven by a 7mm neodymium iron boron magnetic and titanium-plated diaphragm dynamic ring speaker unit, and with ANC (active noise cancellation) features for improved sound and call quality, you also get touch controls to change music, take calls, or bring up voice assistants.
One great power-saving feature is that the earbuds disconnect automatically when taken off and kept on standby for 30 minutes. Weighing only 5.8 grams each, the earbuds support IPX4 water resistance. The case has a USB Type-C charging port, while the earbuds have support for AAC codec.
