UK's Largest Airports Get Anti-Drone Systems to Tackle Shutdowns

Drones are a big problem for airports and we have had at least one major airport shutdown thanks to a drone at Gatwick Airport last year. To protect themselves from future incidents, Gatwick and UK's largest airport Heathrow have invested in their own anti-drone systems, which will become more and more commonplace at airports this year.
The supposed military-grade anti-drone apparatus could also be seen at Scotland’s Edinburgh Airport, another high-volume UK airport. That system has reportedly been manufactured by Israeli defense contractor Rafael, and lets authorities jam the drone signal to cripple its operations and land it safely.
