UC Browser is removed by Google from Google Play Store


The popular mobile web browser, UC Browser gets removed from the Google Play Store. On the other hand, the official UC Browser Mini is still there and can be downloaded.

Recently, Government of India inspected UC Browser for allegedly sending user data to a remote server in China. This mobile web browser is owned by a Chinese Internet giant Alibaba Group.

However, UC Browser is ranked the sixth most downloaded Android app in India and crossed 500 million downloads a few weeks ago.

There is no announcement done on this matter either from Google or UC Web Inc. Hence, we will let you know once we get more information regarding this.
